It's time..... Isn't it???
After working so diligently on setting up a new home here at blogspot, I got to thinkin ~ My home needs just as much diligence.
I try and get ready for a season before the obvious. I am notorious for bringing in the fall blankets, heavier towels, clothes, lite sweaters and coats, taking what I feel out and packing it away until the other obvious, just to get hit with a week or two of warmer than usual weather and having to drag it all back out again. I spent all day deciding what to pack away, what to give away (because somehow my dryer shrunk everything I own) and what to leave right where it's at. Perfect example... this morning I turned the heat on and this afternoon the fans are oscillating.
I went through every cupboard and cabinet to see what I have stored up for those colder fall days and/or what is needed for comfort (truthfully, to see if I could find what really made my dryer shrink all of my clothes). I did some much needed cleaning behind and underneath all of the furniture (because someone has been feeding the Dust Bunnies) to prepare for a yearly carpet cleaning.
I would much rather be here choosing who's journal to follow, answering e-mails and just keeping up with the world. But... as they (who are they anyways) say...
A mothers work is never done.
Hoping all have found comfort and contentment in this move ~ Take care of you and yours always,
Katie

getting use to.. with f/t job and household duties I can agree on how hard it is to keep up
Well a mother's work is never done
Take care
Wow, Katie, your new "home" here looks super. I seem to mess up more than I fix. I know I will get the hang of it but will need some tutoring. This old dog doesn't learn new tricks well, especially techno ones. HUGS
I've been trying to do a little bit of both work and play and it has worn me out. lol
I need to do a really good thorough cleaning. I started one about a month ago and never finished it. Our weather is so nice and cool right now. We're having absolutely gorgeous days.
Thanks for the lovely comment!! I've bookmarked you and will send you my blogspot soon!!

Glad that you found me so I could find you Katie!! lol Hope you get rid of those dust bunnies. If you need more I will send some your way. lol Have a blessed day. Hugs, Janie
Your blog looks good.
I hope you have a good weekend!
I definitely have a full plate these days. And by the way the dryer really does shrink our clothes from one season to the next....Here's to hoping the household chores go quickly. Enjoy your weekend dear friend. (Hugs)Indigo
Our furnace has been coming on every night-the low tonight 26:shivering: degrees!
I always have a couple sets of freak weather clothes in my bottom drawer. You just never know. :)
Have a great weekend.
