A day late and a dollar short

Photobucket

It's Tuesday and what a wonderful Tuesday it tis. I really enjoy my 3 day weekends, its the thinking it's Monday when it's really Tuesday that gets me going in the wrong direction.

How was every ones weekend? My was nice, quite but really nice. Nugget spent the weekend with my parents which left hubby and I with no responsibilities. Not a good idea leaving two grown adults alone for a day, not to mention a weekend without their child.

We went here, we went there and had a good time in doing so. The highlight though was Valentines Day/Night hubby took me out for sushi ~ my favorite and that's where we met up with some friends and headed to Cincinnati.

I am so thankful I no longer drink. Note to others: Stop drinking when you can no longer see straight or each other. Oh my, did I have a hootin and a hallerin bunch on my hands. Payback for me was knowing each and everyone of them would wake up Sunday morning with their tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouth with no memory as to why. We did enjoy ourselves and I'm sure it will be a while before we do that again.

This Tuesday I feel like a day late and a dollar short. Maybe by Friday it will feel like Friday.

Take care of you and enjoy your Today, Tomorrow and your Always!

What a blessing to have no Monday at work anyway. I'd like to skip that one but I suppose then Tuesday would be the day I'd like to skip. Friday's are my favorite.
Glad you had a good time!

Glad you had a good time. Sometimes and note I said "SOMETIMES" I wish I could go back to work, and then again I worked at hard physical work at a dry cleaners, clerk in Drug store,WAITRESSING, so on second thought no I don't. Had to take jobs between having babies. Lucy

You have to love short weeks, but since I am a stay at home mom it really does not count for me! LOL

I never quit drinking officially, but I haven't really done it in a few years. I miss it sometimes. Ususally at 9:30 pm on a Friday night when I have one kid stuck to my boob and another screaming for more Spongebob.

Glad you had a good time!!

God bless-Amanda

Hi Katie - I know I'm really late making my rounds. I was catching up and noticed you left a comment that you had an entry for the photo challenge but didn't leave a link - can you email me your link if you posted? Thanks, Martha :-)

That is good that youi are back to enjoying yourself. I know it was stressful when your dad fell and your boy had the pencil problem. Lucy

3 day weekends are great. I am glad you had a chance to relax and get some quality adult time in for Valentines Day, Sushi is one of my favorites too.. I mean what's not to love? .. Relaxation comes in many forms. Being out with friends and re-connecting with the world of social-outings is a good time. Back to work eventually, but the time off is always welcome. So glad you had a great time:)
