I never left ~ It's my mind that's been missing!

Well Hidy Ho there good neighbors. I'm hoping life has been good to all. My life seemed to of scooped me up a week or so ago and has just now decided to spit me out. Thanks for the ride!

I always enjoy coming back to read the blogs after being away for awhile. It's like reading your favorite book for comfort.

So, where have I been? Well, work took it's toll there for a couple of days with finishing touches, then my niece flew in from sunny Arizona (What was she thinking) for a strut around the East Coast.

Being that it has been colder than a well diggers behind here with tons of snow on the ground we decided to head south/east. So we loaded up the truck (and moved to Beverly.... Hills that is.... swimmin pools and movie stars! Sorry I had to do that).

Anywho, we headed south and continued our travels in to Nashville Tennessee for a couple of days (what a great place that is to people watch - A whole nother entry on it's own).

Our final destination landed us in South Carolina. Where the waters are so blue and the sand was so soft and the sun was so warm. I couldn't get my mind or body wrapped around the idea of leaving. I bet you can still see the drag marks in the sand.

We returned home Saturday safe and sound with everything intact ........ but I have no idea where my mind has been ever since.

Take care with hopes that everyone enjoys their today, tomorrow and their always!

Sounds like a great time, and I'm so glad you enjoyed your break! I'm getting antsy for the beach, too, but we aren't going to our Florida timeshare until July. I can hardly wait!

Hugs, Beth

The beaches close enough to go to around here are just as cold as a well digger's azz so I'd just as soon be home. Glad you found a nice warm one to go to. Your mind will join you when reality of the cold sets in :)......

Welcome back to Blog Land, Katie! It sounds like you had a great trip! Which SC beach did you go to? I'm in NC ... the mountains ... snow ... 12 degrees. Yep ... I think I need a SC beach trip, too!

Take Care!
