It seems as though I have found my way back to a familiar place. My blog has always been a safe place for me to land. A place where my thoughts become visible and no longer remain raw.
My life has been quite a journey these past few months. I followed my dreams but came to realize that reality had my luggage. We moved to the West Coast in search of a new way of life. Someplace warm, where the sunshine heats your face and the fresh air fills your lungs.
It was hard at first, starting over. Not knowing the people, places or things that surround you. It soon came together and worked out well. But not long thereafter winter began biting at our heals. I've never seen so much rain day after day. I literally felt like I was beginning to rust. It started to wear on my nerves as well as my emotions.
It saddened me to think of leaving this place, the ocean air, the beauty and the freedom that comes with this lifestyle. But, the choice was simple enough to make the move and the road trip exciting. We are headed to Vegas baby!
Life is good once again.....We seem to be following the sunshine and lollipops and rainbows that can be found everywhere.
It feels good to be back on familiar territory. Just wish the view came with ocean air and the sound of seagulls telling their stories.
