I was spacing, I mean listening to my playlist as I commented on many of my favorite reads. One song stuck in my mind "Genie In A Bottle" by Christina Aguiulera. Oh soooo 90's, but hey.
Could you imagine living in a bottle, not one of beer, wine, gin or scotch, I'm talking about being a Genie in a bottle?
I visit a lot of what many call "HOME" including my own from time to time and I would have to say I would be horrified to think of my life inside a bottle landing on one of those shelves. Not like many would rub that decor or let me out like a puppy having to pee.
My lower half would no longer fit through a hole of any size, let alone the hole of a bottle. I'm afraid I would find comfort in eating all the things a closet bottle dweller eats and liken it. If my presence were requested for a wish to come true - I'd probably send in the fairies and their dust.
I would eventually find myself sharing a space with dust bunnies, sagging butt checks, claustrophobia and a song from the 90's.
What a great idea for a Halloween costume - Not someone walking around with sagging butt checks wearing nothing but dust bunnies and confusion - But a Genie In A Bottle!
