At 5:30 this morning I felt like I was shot from a cannon out of bed hitting the floor going 9O mph. For some strange reason I thought I had missed the opportunity to vote. Scary stuff there or could this be?
It was still dark, the house was quite, even Mr.Krupps hadn't started his day yet - my new coffee pot is on his own schedule. What in the world is going on here - where is everybody?
Suddenly I hear this knock more like a bang on the front door. It was my Lovely neighbor. Ms. Snippy Pants saying "I saw a light on and decided to come on over to see if you were gonna vote".
Wait Wait What, What light? The one on my alarm clock! All this while my eyes were trying to adjust to what looked like 5:32 in the MORNING! Who in their right mind or left one for that matter wonders around the neighborhood with this question in mind.
Me aka Mrs. Crabby Pants blurts out "Of course I'm gonna vote... when the sun comes up"! I could tell she was prepared to visit as she was traveling with her cup of coffee in hand (she and Mr. Krupps must be in this together).
I hadn't even pee'd or removed my tongue from the roof of my mouth and yet this lady wants to chit chat. Come to find out she needed a ride to the polls and wanted to know if she could tag along - Why of course you can Ms. Snippy pants, Now had this questions been asked last night at a decent hour it would of been greatly appreciated - NOW, your riddin in the trunk!
Those needing a ride loaded up as we headed to the polls to exercise our rightful duty as a US citizen by 8:30am and were enjoying a wonderful breakfast, neighborhood and all by 9:00am. Oh it's good to be ME!
Hoping your day today is one you will remember always - whether it turns out the way we want it or not - It is what it is.
Take care and enjoy,

but I have a threenager...
so I'm always up very very very early!! The bugger!
Very witty, you are! :)
But yea, I wouldn't have been too happy about the 5:30 in the morning door banging either. I don't think I could have held off from peeing in my pants either! LOL
When I get out of bed, look out, because I've GOTTA GO!!
Thank you for voting and carting others along to vote as well. :)
Jeez, could she have maybe asked you the NIGHT BEFORE about a ride to the polls?
Glad you enjoyed your breakfast with Ms Snippity Pants :).........

You really should check Hinder out. They are often called "The Aerosmith of this era"
Anyways...as for Hockey tags i usually just make my own. No one really makes sports tags all that much.
LOL! I think you were very nice to her for knocking on your door at 5:30 am....I personally am all for the day not actually starting until between 9 and 10 AM! LOL
I think I would of been highly upset if she had shown up at my door that early!! Linda
WHAT TIME is 5:30 AM??? We voted right after my Doctors appointment at 5PM< The ladies had Fudge, cookies, Candy, Coffee and I was number 288 for the day out of 586 registered voters. Glad when this is over!!
take care;
Woody
Oh my! My husband even knows better than to wake me up at 5:30 in the morning! lol I think a phone call may have been better than knocking on the door. Cute entry and did she offer to buy your breakfast? lol Hugs, Janie
Good Lord.....I don't think I would have been so friendly at 5:30AM....ugh. Especially since rule number 1 around here is "Don't talk to Mom until she's had at least ONE cup of coffee."
I think I would have said, "ONly if you vote Republican." Ha! Lots of good that would have done.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
God bless-
Amanda
I wouldn't have the patience. I would of just shut the door and waited for my cup of coffee. Knowing my neighbors they probably would still be waiting at the door an hour later. (Hugs)Indigo
My coffee pot broke the other day....gave pause to ending it ALL...then went to Starbucks and all was well! :)
You have to love neighbors like that!
that's a funny story!
