The Day Before The Day Before Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year, that is if you woke up on the right side of the bed, which I did thank you. Hoping everyone did the same.

Being that we decided not to travel for Christmas and Moms not feeling up to par, I decided to do our traditional Christmas dinner here ate my home. This has been in the planning stages for a week or there abouts so it's not a least minute, make me crazier than I already am kind of thing.

For one of my mothers gifts I had been searching for a new table setting for Christmas and "TA DA" I indeed found one and bought two (pictured above with some changes), one for me and one for you (or her, I mean). I decided to use the setting this year hoping she will love it.

I went to pick up the standing rib roast (aka prime rib minus the booties) this morning and that was the last thing to do on my "To Do" list. I shopped for the other necessities yesterday (what a nightmare). So I am ready, bring on the holidays ~ oh it's good to be me!

Friday and over the weekend we went and took care of our way of saying "Thank you for our blessings and shared with those less fortunate (again thanks to Kroger's, Wally World, our local library, and The City of Piqua). Hoping this brings warmth and a smile during the Holiday season.

I will be extremely busy for the next day or two. I will be stopping in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with hopes of doing a Christmas post. So on this day, I wish everyone good healthy and happiness, warmth and a smile to share. Take care of you and yours always!
