What to do with a Monday full of nothings

Ya know those kind of days when only one eye will open, your tongue is stuck to the roof of your mouth and your hair looks as though you've stood on your head all night that it's gonna be one of those grouchy/grumpy kinda days? I was hit with one and it happens to be MONDAY!

My other half woke me up with a cheerful "Good Morning" and I thought to myself how does he know it's gonna be a good morning it's still way to early. We went about our business as normal, ate breakfast, changed our minds several times as to what to wear to school (and he's only in the 2nd grade mind you), bundled up beyond belief and out the door we went....... only to return about 10 minutes later becasue, there was a TWO HOUR DELAY!!!.

I wanted to cry. I had a Monday planned full of nothings and here I was trying to figure out what I can do to look busy for 2 hours. I didnt' ponder the thought to long and off to the grocery store we went. Oh this is one of my sons favorite things to do - NOT. Once he escaped from this mad shoppers grip into the comforts of school, my day could begin.

I've taken 2 weeks off of work for vacation, I didn't have to take my mom to any appointments, Christmas shoppings done, Christmas cards and gifts are sent, house is clean, laundry is done and now my grocery shopping is completed. What's there to do with a wonderful Monday morning ~ Nothing ~ oh it's good to be me.

The sun began to shine, my mood become brighter so I took myself out to lunch. I hope this Monday finds you happy, healthy and enjoying your Today! Take care and have fun.

The graphic at the top of this entry is perfect. I still have wrapping to do and grocery shopping Wedn. morning. Don't ask Paul is determined to wait until the last minute to get groceries. I'm almost tempted to give him a list and wish him luck. (Hugs)Indigo

I felt so unmotivated today. Pre-holiday calm before the storm, I guess!

Hi Katie. Your day turned out "good" after all I would think. We had ice around here all day so it was a stay-in-the-house day for me. It will be back in the upper seventies in a couple of days. Have a great holiday :)........
