A Hunting I shall go!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I'm hoping everyones weekend was full of excitement, rest or the things you dream of most.

Friday was slow - I couldn't figure out how to walk without lil piggy sending the rest of my body the message of pain. My shoes aren't working, it's to cold for just a sock and I have a real problem being a stationary couch potatoe.

By Saturday morning I had hubby's slipper and my limp going on. I was determined that nothing was gonna keep us down.

I needed to find something evening attirish for the fancy dinner party we would be attending next Saturday night in Canada (cold, cold Canada). After several hours of On Again Off Agains, I found the perfect dress .

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks or a fully loaded tour bus "What kind of shoe could I possibly put a toe such as this into. Back to square one - To hell with it, I'm wearing my pajamas because that's the only kinda shoe that's gonna work. ,

I did find a beautiful black pantsuit, that a beaded up, over sized, black slipper would work quite well with. So there you have it - a Saturday lightbulb moment.

Sunday, believe you me was truly a day of rest - going over last minute details and plans for the week ahead.

Today on this cold but beautiful Monday morning I took a few... OK a lot of my sweaters to the cleaners (a yearly visit). One must have a selection, ya know. By the look on the girls face, you would of thought I had spun them myself. Said laundry lady expressed more than once " Are you gonna have all of these cleaned today"?

My response was oh so simple " No, I'm only gonna have the one done - The rest just came along for the ride", HELLLOOOOOOO! Oh it's good to be me!

My schedule this week includes nails and a hair cut. Could you imagine my hairdresser asking me if I'm gonna have all of my hair cut or just the one!
