It's raining, It's pouring, I heard someone snoring

Don't you just love winter time weather? One day it's brisk and sunny with a breeze that makes your lips feel as though their gonna fall off. The next day it begins to rain and the smell of mildew becomes a familiar scent. Oh and the snow that covers your life not allowing you to feel any of your extremities ~ What a wonderful time of the year it tis.

Today.......I'm lazy and likin it! I was up earlier than the household noises, sipping a delicious cup of yum and decided to make one of those stick to the ribs kind of breakfast for the household noises. I made waffles with mixed berries, poached eggs and ham, orange juice, tomato juice and a new pot of yum.

I'm not an early morning breakfast eater, oh but put me at the table around 10:00 am and I can eat with the best of them. For some reason this morning I had an early appetite and I did do some damage. Once I got the guys off in the right direction and had the kitchen cleaned I had the thought of what I was suppose to do on my list of to do's.

I sat and pondered by the fireplace wrapped up like a cocoon, listening to the rain, sipping my last cup of coffee before I spin out of control and thought to myself "Self, isn't the sound of rain relaxing"?

The next thing I knew I heard a snore that just about knocked me to the floor and I thought when did he get home. Then it dawned on me where that snore was coming from. I have never woke myself up with my own snore. Good food, great coffee, the sound of rain, a warm fire and the ability to get a good snore in all before noon ~ Oh it's good to be me.
