Finding Friends

For sometime now, ooohh sorry, Good afternoon to you!

Now where was I, oh yeah, for sometime now I have been hearing about a different way of communicating with Family and Friends through this awesome networking site known as "
FACEBOOK".

It took me awhile to navigate my way through Blogspot so anything new that required a working mind that focuses was gonna be a challenge. I tip toed on over to take a peek and OUCH I got bit.

I had heard that FaceBook allowed you to find family and friends from the past ~ which could be a scary thought all on it's own. Some of those people from my past are there for a reason and I really don't want them to come creeping around my future. I was happy to hear that you can block or deny access to those you don't want lurking around in your current business.

So, I fell in face first and have found a lot of people from Blogspot, longtime friends, family members that I had lost contact with and new people I'd like to get to know better. If you haven't had a chance to check it out or have the same fears I did, not to worry. If you don't want them knockin - they surely can't just walk right in!

Hoping every ones heart is pumping peanut butter and jelly, getting ready for a Loving weekend. Take care of you and yours always!

Welcome to Facebook!! I didn't like how my name was public but I was pleased to discover that everything was private!! If you don't want your network to view your profile, make sure you change your settings to "Only Friends can View my Profile". Because if you have family in the same network (such as city) they can view you without permission. Oops, hope I didn't scare you away haha. Hey add me if you'd like at merelymom@gmail.com :D

I know what you mean...some people need to stay in the past!!

I like Facebook. I find it a nice supplement to my blog, and a way to do short updates instead of putting everything on the blog. I'm also addicted to Mafia Wars! LOL

Glad you found me there!

Hugs, Beth

I really like it there. Wonder if I can run Blogger & Facebook at the same time on dial-up! That might be a stretch hmm....... Oh, please don't eat any contaminated peanut butter!!!!

Good seeing you there on Facebook!! I love it, just having fun there!! And I DO love that it's private except for who you choose to let in... I know there are bloggers there that I don't know because it uses real names, but EVENTUALLY, I'll get them all as friends.

My daughter got me hooked on it! She has so many of these places, but I do like the idea that you have the power over who you can have as a friend and who you can't. I've been trying to find a new place since this move to blogg. This place makes me feel alot more stupid than I truly am! LOL

Many hugs to you Katie and please take care. :o)

I reckon Facebook is the new MySpace? I barely have enough time to visit all the wonderful folks I have on my sidebar here...I can't imagine having another site to keep up with..lol. I am stuck in my ways, even on the computer. ;) Hugs, Kelly
