If I had a brain ~ I might be dangerous

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I'm hoping everyone is doing well. I woke to the smell of bacon, fresh brewed get-up-n-go and a beautiful blanket of winter wonderland. Now doesn't that sound like a great way to start a day?

It was, but it didn't last long. Reality hit me upside the head as I realized I had to go out in this stuff. My son was really excited, he and hubby got all bundled up and went outside to make this years first backyard snow angels before heading off to school/work. I grabbed the camera and started snapping away. Yeah wonderful memories to share with family and friends.

When ever I start a new project, I go in to the home and take pictures of the areas in question, take those pictures home so I can figure out a plan without disturbing the clients, return with said plans and go on from there. So there I am having to go out while it's snowing, so bundled up I'm thinking hot flashes have nothing on me. I arrive and begin snapping away.

About an hour an a half later after several pictures were taken I arrived home to comfort and snuggled up to download my accomplishments.

Here's where "If I had a brain" comes into play. I had 43 pictures to download including those of my son and hubby making beautiful snow angels in all their glory. NOT! I had 43 shots of MY FACE!

I have one of those video/digital cameras that you can flip the screen in case you choose to take a video or picture of yourself (for whatever reason I don't know) but some how the screen got flipped and not having a brain, I never noticed it and just started clicking away. Now, I not only have nothing to work off of, I no longer have the pictures I so wanted to share. Idiot! Today, it's not so good being me.

I've since rescheduled with the home owners to go back out and give it one more shot ~ Now if I could only reschedule that beautiful blanket of winter wonderland.

I did however have a delicious lunch with hubby and I know this will not be the only snow fall here in the Miami valley - So things are already starting to look brighter. I hope your day treats you well. Take care and enjoy one another!
