Please Note: This entry is all in fun and not to be taken seriously (even though most parts are true but can become edible) *
Good Morning Everyone! It seems to be yet another day of gloom, but don't let it get you down good things always come to those who wait.
Lets get started shall we? During the week before New Years my partner in crime and business received THE call from a sweet couple that live some where over the rainbow and a town or two over. Service requested: 3 bedrooms to be organized. Scheduled: 1st week of the new year.
We arrived at the beautiful home of Mr. Coo and Mrs. Coo (aka: Mr & Mrs. Coo Coo). We enter the kitchen to sit down and discuss said services. Mr. Coo asks "Oh please don't sit there, that's Camelots seat". Shortly thereafter this little dog hops right up on the chair giving both my partner and I the look as to say " Yes and what can I do for you" as Mrs. Coo sets a cup of hot broth (no kidding) in front of this dog.
We proceed into the 1st said room, then on to the 2nd said room and finally parking it in the 3rd said room. I swear somehow I felt as though I had fallen right smack dab in the middle of "Build A Bear Work Shop". Mr & Mrs. Coo Coo then introduced us to the infamous Cleo and Charlie (the bears), whom by the way had just woke from their naps.
I can't even begin to describe these rooms without breaching client confidentiality. But know that these bears have it made and I mean made (if they were alive). They have their own bedrooms with toddler beds, child size recliners, a TV for both them and the dog. One room is full and I mean full of clothes, shoes, accessories up the ying yang and here's one to put in your pipe and smoke, they both have life vests and passports. Once I stopped spinning we were able to come to a decision as to how to organize the bears little life to make them more comfortable.
We nearly escaped before being coaxed back in to sit for another half hour, eyes crossed, grazing through photo album(s) of said lil gems family vacations. These bears have been to more places than one would ever dream of (so this would be the reason for a bear to have a passport? - who would of thought) ~ Oh it's good to be me.
I don't even know where to begin - I guess a good start would be "Build a Bear Workshop"!
I'm off. Take care and have a wonderful day my friends.

Thank you Katie for your wonderful caring words. Comming from my most Happy go lucky jornal writer. Did you see my New Gr-grandbaby??? One of my faithful readers let me know she couldn't leave a comment so I very quickly got that fixed. Lucy
That is sad when there are so many children abused and neglected needing homes.
Sounds like they need someone to love in their life, they must be very lonely..
Sounds Like they have more than the Bear nessities
I guess it takes all kinds, doesn't it? Have fun organizing the bears!

Of course, Garnett and Kath's comments have me rolling over here cracking up. Really, though, these two really sound like they could use a good psychiatrist. LOL..something is a tad bit off...JMO. HUGS
This is hilarious and horribly sad at the same time.
I couldn't help but giggle hysterically though. And then I had to read the entire entry out loud to my husband. ;)

This is my first visit to your Blog. It's touching and moving! You do provide needed services! Your Blog is beautiful, too, btw. I will visit again! Happy New Year from Merry (the new grandmother (again) who is delighted!
Hi Katie. Whatever you do will probably be just fine with them. Just hope the dog approves :).......
As I read this I thought-Only in Katie's world! I'm sure you'll handle this with the same aplomb you write with. I'm looking forward to updates on this particular pair of clients and their "family"!
:) Leigh
Oh my! Too funny... or is it?? Hope things go well with these clients. lol Blessings, Janie
I am thinking that maybe I want to be a stuffed bear. Linda
LOLOL, Mr. and Mrs. Coo coo? That is purely priceless!!! *wheezes* I need to catch my breath, wow... that's pretty extreme, I feel bad for them. They must be trying so hard to fill that emptiness in their hearts, poor couple! Man, my husband's grandparents basically idolizes their dog. It drinks out of a cup and it dines on home-cooked chicken/veggies. It woke me up 5 times in the night (it had stairs leading up to each bed) so I would bring it a cup of water, it refused to drink out of the bowl. Craziness LOL
Oh. My. Goodness.
Talk about someone needed a does a realtity. And JESUS!!!
Yikes. Well. Guess there money is still good!
God bless-
Amanda
hahaha too funny! i hope your week is going good. hugs
Cannot believe this! A bedroom and TV's for stuffed animals? That's just crazy.....
I'm only guessing how their lives have gone to end up in a position such as that!
I hope you managed to grab coffee and sanity when you came home later that night!
I'm without tact, so I would have laughed pretty hard.....lmao
We had kitties that came and went as they pleased for a couple of years. The weren't tame in the beginning, but eventually warmed up to us through time. We named them all (there were about 6 of them, running together)...Mange, Blackie, Girlie, Moe, Baby, and the other was a part timer and can't remember the names.
Unfortunately, despite providing a litter box, they preferred the boxes of stored items on the top shelf of the garage...and I had to start closing the garage door at night.
(Maybe I should hae e-mailed you instead of this long, drawn out comment....?)
